Responsible for the cleaning and keep hygiene of the kitchen area, equipment and utensils including pots, pans, plates, glasses, flatware, service ware and miscellaneous items. To clean all sections as and when required. To maintain a clean kitchen environment and to sterilize kitchen equipment and utensils regularly. To strictly keep on safety standards following the Restaurant's policies, procedures and service standards. To handle with care all the cutleries & plates. To ensure all kitchen equipment is properly and correctly stored. To ensure compliance to SOP on handling all kitchen equipment including dish washing machine. It was somewhere in May 2016 when BBL had first opened its doors and we must say it has been a delightful journey. Though we may have come from a family who had been in this business long time ago, somewhere in the '70s where we had operated under various names, the management style, cooking style, customers expectations and the culture as a whole was far different back then. Cooking then, even for commercial purposes was prepared from the scratch by using freshly ground spices and using the freshest produce and meat instead of buying '˜off the shelf'˜ ready-made curry powder loaded with MSG to artificially spice up dishes. However things have changed so much now.
