**Job Overview**

As Legal Counsel, you will provide legal support to the Group on a wide variety of matters such as real estate matters, complex transactions, corporate compliance and disputes. You will have the opportunity to be a key contributor to a dynamic, fast-paced organization with businesses around the world.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Draft and review contracts, correspondence, policies and other documentation.
- Provide legal support, including legal due diligence, for acquisitions and other strategic transactions.
- Support the Group on compliance with relevant listing rules, corporate governance requirements and other regulatory matters.
- Provide support on legal disputes where applicable.
- Collaborate with external professional advisers.
- Conduct legal research.
- Prepare, update and manage legal templates.
- Handle the Group’s insurance-related matters.
- File and record the Group’s agreements, contract templates and other documents.
- Undertake ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- A recognized degree in law
- At least 3 years’ post-qualification experience in a law firm and/or an in-house legal department.
- Experience with disputes will be an advantage.
- Ability to exercise and express sound legal judgement in a commercial environment.
- Excellent research skills and ability to learn.
- Attention to detail.
- Sense of ownership and responsibility.
- Commercially savvy.
- Efficient time management and ability to prioritise work well.
- Flexible team player with strong organizational skills, tenacity, initiative and decision-making abilities.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

- Bachelor's or equivalent (preferred)
