**Role Responsibilities**
As a **Security Lead Engineer **at CoreNetworks, you will:
- **Oversee and manage** Cybersecurity team and project activities.
- **Design new security solutions** along with the relevant Security Design, Security Policy and Risk assessment.
- **Provide advice, guidance, and risk mitigation** solutions to a variety of stakeholders to drive the OT security strategy and implementation to mitigate security exposure
- **Author detailed technical proposal **and reports to meet customer’s industrial Cybersecurity requirements
- **Design, deploy, maintain and support ICS/OT** cybersecurity technologies including firewalls, Intrusion Detection Systems, antivirus software, patch management, log management
- Work closely with customers to ensure the agreed IT-OT security architecture, SLAs, KPIs, and expectations are met
- Responsible for educating customers on cyber security through training and tabletop exercises
- Assist customers to monitor their networks and systems for security breaches or intrusions
- Research emerging threats and vulnerabilities and supports the creation of OT security strategy, roadmap, architecture, policies, standards, and best practices for customer
- Participating in expert communities with OT cybersecurity professionals
- **Troubleshooting and Consulting**: Handle complex troubleshooting and provide Security consulting to enhance our pre-sales efforts.
- **Mentorship**: Offer guidance and support to junior network and security engineers.
- **Documentation**: Maintain detailed network diagrams and documentation, ensuring robust security and backup strategies.
**What You’ll Need to Succeed**
- **Updated Knowledge**: Stay informed about the latest in IT networking.
- Knowledgeable of cyber security risk management and security architecture and engineering domains
- 3 years or greater experience in one or more international standards: NIST 800-82, IEC-62443 Standards, ISO 27001
- Possess one or more professional certifications: CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 LA/LI, ISA/IEC 62443, TOGAF, CCIE
- Knowledge and experience in information security, IT risk, and IT governance, including BNM RMIT Strong understanding of IT security principles and practice.
- Familiarity with security frameworks and regulations such as NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 is an advantage
- Expertise in Offensive Security will be a bonus, but not necessary
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
- Present very good oral and writing skills in English
- Have good analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Are result-driven, self-motivated, have a positive working attitude, and can work independently to achieve the target

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
