**The Opportunity**

We are partnered with a big and smart distribution company throughout Asia Pacific based in Australia. They are a fully owned Australian company with offices located in Australia, the United States and United Kingdom, New Zealand and Singapore.

As a **Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant/Developer** you will support to develop and implement work plans, process mapping and other documents, in conjunction with the wider team (external consultants, internal BAs etc.). The role will require extensive practical experience in D365 implementation, upgrades, reporting, D365 interfaces/integration, and troubleshooting.

**Responsibilities**

**You’ll be part of the team with strong focus on Microsoft technologies. This is a key technical position to support to successfully implement a new ERP (Finance, Sales, Customer Service and Warehouse Management) through Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant/Developer.**
- Develop and implement checklists for upgrades including roles/responsibilities/timeframes
- Develop and implement suite of unit test scripts for upgrades
- Work with wider IT team to enable PowerBI reports
- Assess business reporting requirements and determine and design suitable reports
- Develop capability for business to have self-serve reports
- Develop control/exception reporting to alert users of system anomalies.
- Review existing interfaces and determine if more efficient methodologies are able to be utilised, and if so implement them
- Determine if more batch jobs are able to be implemented and if so, implement them
- Determine if more interfaces are able to be developed, and if so, develop them
- Determine if D365/business processes can be refined/improved, and if so, refine/improve them.
- Review D365 customisations to determine if these are still essential, with the view to, where possible, replace these with D365 delivered functionality.
- Review workflow set up and determine if more efficient approaches can be used and, if so implement them
- Improve efficiencies through the implementation and integration of new D365 modules
- Support to fully utilise the D365 Business Central
- Provide FMIS/D365 training support as required.
- Work collaboratively and constructively with other advisers and relevant staff who are involved in supporting the D365 BC implementation

**Skills, Experience & Qualifications**
- BS degree /Graduate qualifications in project management, business, accounting and/or financial management
- Experience with Dynamics 365 development / customizations
- Certifications and demonstrated practical experience as a Technical Subject Matter Expert, in implementing several of the Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Experience in managing the development of interfaces into, and out of, D365 or preceding versions.
- Demonstrated practical experience in the day-to-day administration (including scheduled D365 upgrades) of D365 Business Central after implementation in the capacity of Systems Administrator or equivalent.
- Experience implementing new ERP systems in SME market.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to identify and manage risks and to solve complex problems and to work effectively, with diverse teams including advocacy and the capacity to negotiate effective solutions.
- Experience in development and implementation of business process/user “guides” for D365 Business Central
- Experience working within a cloud-based environment.

**Nice to Have**
- Microsoft certifications from related areas - PL-900, AZ-900, MB-910, MB-920
- Logistics/transport/fast paced medium size to enterprise global business experience would be highly desirable
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and/or AWS cloud (knowledge of cloud resource deployment principles or usage of specific cloud technologies)
- Experience with.NET platform (C#) and relational databases
