Maverick International School is currently seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager to join our team and drive our online presence. We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of social media platforms, excellent communication skills, and a passion for education. Responsibilities: - Develop and implement a social media strategy to enhance the school's brand and engage with the community. - Manage and maintain the school's social media accounts, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. - Create and curate compelling and relevant content for social media platforms, including posts, images, videos, and stories. - Monitor social media channels, respond to inquiries, comments, and messages in a timely and professional manner. - Engage with followers, parents, and students to build a sense of community and foster positive relationships. - Analyze social media metrics and insights to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven decisions for optimization. - Stay updated with the latest social media trends, algorithms, and best practices to maximize reach and engagement. - Collaborate with the media department to produce social media content, including videography and photography. - Work closely with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing initiatives. Requirements: - Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Qualification, or relevant experience in marketing, communications, or a related field. - Proven experience in managing social media platforms and implementing successful social media strategies. - In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, analytics tools, and social media management tools. - Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to create engaging and persuasive content. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with different stakeholders. - Creative mindset and ability to think outside the box to create innovative social media campaigns. - Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights. - Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines. - Familiarity with educational environments or experience in managing social media for educational institutions is a plus.
