**Job Role**:
The Accounting Assistant will report directly to the Account Manager and will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks to support the efficient operation of the finance department.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Data Entry and Recordkeeping**:

- Accurately input financial transactions into accounting software or spreadsheets.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
- **Accounts Payable and Receivable**:

- Assist in processing invoices, payments, and expense reports.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable statements.
- **Bank Reconciliation**:

- Assist in reconciling bank statements with company records.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- **Financial Reporting**:

- Assist in the preparation of basic financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Generate ad hoc financial reports and analysis as required.
- **Expense Management**:

- Support the management of employee expense reports.
- Verify expenses and ensure compliance with company policies.
- **Audit Support**:

- Assist in gathering and preparing documents for audits.
- Support auditors during audit processes as needed.
- **Communication and Coordination**:

- Communicate with internal stakeholders and external parties regarding financial matters and inquiries.
- Coordinate with other departments as necessary to ensure accurate and timely financial transactions.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

**Salary**: RM1,900.00 - RM3,500.00 per month

Expected hours: 40 per week
