SCOPE OF WORKS which shall include but shall not be limited to the following: (a) Provision of technical advice in pre-survey planning of drilling/platform/clearance site investigation, pipeline and cable route and refraction surveys operation. This shall include the preparation of tender and contract documents. (b) Review of the methodologies and procedures for geophysical (MBES & SBP) survey, geochemical seabed sampling, seafloor heat flow (HF) measurements and sample analysis. To propose improvement or alternative techniques/procedures (if necessary) to ensure efficient survey operation and high data quality are obtained. (c) Review all potential constraints to the survey operations and propose suitable acquisition parameters, systems and techniques to be used to ensure effective and efficient implementation of data acquisition operations. (d) Provision of technical advice in selecting the parameters for seismic data processing based on the operational constraints/ problems experienced during the survey operations. (e) Provision of training, in terms of briefings and discussions, advice and explanation to COMPANY's personnel and trainees, etc. on geophysical activities or operations. (f) Conduct technical studies and reviews of Geophysical contract specifications and also to propose standard guidelines for the QC Supervision of any geophysical operations. (g) Provide a brief description, results, findings and project presentation upon project completion to COMPANY. (h) Conduct Specialized Studies (i.e. Interpretation work for Shallow Gas Hazards, problems in data processing, etc.).
