- Assist Manager to manage the entire tendering process for the procurement of the Development Contracts, Goods & Services according to the approved tender procedures and SOP.
- Assist Manager to evaluate and recommend each tender award to determine the best deals for the company.
- Assist in tender report, contract award, contract documentation, contract binding and contract administration.
- Prepare and finalizing of Letter of Award (LOA).
- Execute the PR-PO approval process through ARIBA system and for the issuance of LOA.
- Execute and administer the tender invitation, tender collection, earnest money, tender closing, etc.
- Assist in preparation of procurement training, ISO compliance program, roadshow and sharing sessions.
- Promote, manage and ensure compliance with all sourcing and contracting policies, procedures, approved SOP and governance standards, taking into accounts of relevant legal & regulatory requirements.
- Identifies and researches potential new suppliers in getting the right vendor to tender at the right price.
- Manage and review contract award and contract administration.
- Manage inquiries and user rapport, and communicate with various parties involved to keep them informed and updated.
- Develop & execute internal & external interdepartmental communication plan and activities.
- Continue to develop and improve the existing processes and SOP with corporate governance.
- Ensure a clear audit trail of activities is maintained with proper filing / record keeping.
- Maintain GENM interests in tender process / tender awards / negotiation process.
**Job Requirements**:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying (QS) / Business Administration / Supply Chain; and/or
- Diploma in QS / Certificate in Purchasing & Material Management or related field with min. 5 years of Procurement experience in large multinationals or local/regional conglomerates.
- Experienced in planning and executing sourcing plan and large strategic sourcing projects, performing contract development, negotiation & finalisation and supplier relationship management activities.
- Proven success in sourcing of materials, equipment and services from local, regional and global suppliers.
- Experienced in planning and executing strategic sourcing initiatives including large sourcing projects in the Hospitality, Food & FMCG, Engineering & Utilities related industries (preferred).
- Hands-on experience in using SAP / Ariba / SAS systems and B2B supplier portal will be an added advantage.
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university, majoring in either Supply Chain Management / Business Admin / Hospitality / Finance /Economics or Engineering & Construction.
- Procurement / Supply Chain Management certification, or equivalent (preferred).
- Experience in technical purchase, resort repair & maintenance.
