Radiographer / Sonographer

It is better if you have both Radiographer and Sonographer Certificate.

**RADIOGRAPHER Job Scope**

**Responsibilities**:

- Evaluating patients’ medical histories to ensure the various medical imaging procedures will not harm them.
- Suggesting alternative medical imaging techniques, when necessary.
- Informing patients about the medical imaging process
- To produce radiograph of optimal diagnostic quality
- To minimize wastage of x-ray films, CD, envelopes and all relevant resources.
- To organize work systematically so as to maximize use of the rooms and staff
- Reduce patient waiting time
- To maintain a good team work and conducive working environment.
- To ensure equipment’s are functioning properly.
- To operate the equipment’s in a manner that is suitable to its operating procedures.
- To report any malfunction or breakdown of equipment as soon as possible to the Manager.
- Prepare patient for X-ray accordingly to doctor’s order.
- Produce X-ray films of parts of the human body for use in diagnosing medical problem.
- Responsible for the safety of the patients, for observing and documenting any reactions to treatment
- Updating charts and answering any clinical related questions a patient might have.
- Assisting patient on registration and update waiting time/ which consultation room, preparing and dispensing medications
- Assist in / clinical procedures / operate medical equipment with care & professionalism
- To perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the supervisor.
- Keep the clinic area clean and tidy

**SONOGRAPHER Job Scope**

**Responsibilities**:

- Setting up and maintaining ultrasound equipment
- Performing ultrasound examinations on patients
- Producing images resulting from the ultrasound examinations
- Interpreting ultrasound images to aid patient diagnosis
- Carrying out training on ultrasound equipment for other staff
- Addressing patients’ concerns before, during and after ultrasound examinations
- Keeping up to date records of scans performed and images produced
- Referring patients to other healthcare professionals and facilities, when necessary
- Soothing and reassuring nervous or anxious patient
- Helps in Clinic assistant job scope when needed

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM4,300.00 per month
