EHS Assistant

**JOB DESCRIPTION**
- Educate, monitor and train personnel and safety at designated locations
- Responsible for updating and organizing an organization's training programs for clerical, supervisory, technical and lower managemnet personnel
- Supervise, control and coordinate the day-to-day activities regarding waste handling from all operation activities, in accordance to company approved procedure and implement sound and effective scheduled waste management practices.
- Control the arrival/dispatch of the scheduled waste material, liaise and arranged with transporter and waste receiver as per regulatory requirements.
- Consolidate and maintains record forms (Manual and E-SWIS system) and all related process of it as per DOE requirements.
- Monitor the assembly, segregation and disposal process of SW and ensure that, the operations are strictly carried out as per company policy and procedure.
- To entertain and be focal person in engaging DOE for any SW related matter
- Perform monthly internal audit on SW store compliance and provide report to management
- Assist in DOSH machinery registration/annual inspection. Review the installation and modification of all equipement/proceses
- Conduct new hire EHS orientations/induction
- Assist in maintaining the plant EHS monthly performance report
- Maintain the plant fire protection system and coordinate the regular quarterly inspection and conduct a necessary fire drill
- Focal person for maintaining PPE and keeping the inventory stock in place
- Assist in SOP Covid-19 implementation
- Responsible in overall enviromental compliance matter and support the safety related programs and activity

**QUALIFICATION**
- BSc/BA or diploma in safety management or any other relevant field is preferred.
- Minimum 1 years experience in EHS

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: RM1,900.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
