- Conduct Shariah compliance review on bank’s operations and activities which includes review planning, identifying issue and its root cause, recommending action plan (rectification & mitigation), report writing and monitoring completion of action plan.
- Perform assessment in terms of Shariah implication on issues identified for deliberation and confirmation by Shariah Committee.
- Ensure adequate training and guidance are provided to the bank’s staff on relevant Shariah requirements.
- Promote Shariah/Islamic finance awareness via engagement with academia/public community.
- Perform administrative matters and ad-hoc task as directed by Head of Department.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Shariah/Islamic Banking/equivalent which includes study in Usul Fiqh (the origin of Islamic Law) and Fiqh Muamalat (Islamic Commercial Law).
- Familiar with Shariah regulatory rulings such BNM SAC’s Resolutions, Shariah Governance Policy Document, Policy Document on Shariah Contracts such as Tawarruq, Ijarah, Qard, Mudarabah etc.
- At least 4 years related experience.
- Able to work under pressure and mínimal supervision.
- Meticulous.
- Possess strong interpersonal skill, analytical skill, and high integrity.
- Possess good oral and written communication.
