**Job Overview**:
Front of House (FOH) Staff members are essential team members responsible for delivering excellent customer service and creating a positive dining experience for guests. Working in the front of the restaurant or hospitality establishment, FOH Staff play a crucial role in greeting and serving customers, taking orders, managing reservations, and ensuring that guests have a memorable and enjoyable time.

**Responsibilities**:
**Guest Welcoming**: Greet guests as they arrive, seat them at appropriate tables, and provide them with menus. Create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.

**Table Service**: Take and deliver orders accurately and efficiently. Answer questions about menu items, make recommendations, and accommodate special dietary requests.

**Order Processing**: Enter orders into the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately and relay them to the kitchen staff promptly. Ensure proper modifications are communicated to the kitchen.

**Beverage Service**: Prepare and serve beverages, non-alcoholic drinks. Be knowledgeable about the drink menu and provide recommendations.

**Upselling**: Suggest additional menu items, specials, or beverages to enhance the guest's dining experience and increase sales.

**Assistance to Guests**: Be attentive to guest needs throughout their dining experience. Refill water glasses, clear empty plates, and address any concerns or requests promptly.

**Reservations**: Manage and maintain reservation systems, ensuring that reservations are accurately recorded and guests are seated promptly upon arrival.

**Cash Handling**: Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit cards, and electronic payments. Provide guests with accurate bills and process transactions through the POS system.

**Collaboration**: Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, managers, and fellow FOH team members to ensure smooth service and address any issues that arise.

**Cleanliness**: Maintain a clean and organized FOH area, including tables, chairs, and other customer-facing spaces. Assist in resetting tables for the next guests.

**Menu Knowledge**: Stay informed about menu changes, daily specials, and any relevant information to provide accurate and up-to-date information to guests.

**Guest Feedback**: Listen to guest feedback and address any concerns or complaints in a professional and courteous manner. Relay feedback to the management team if necessary.

**Qualifications**:

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in order taking and payment processing.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic math skills for calculating bills and making change.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service etiquette and protocols.
- Previous experience in a customer service role or hospitality environment is an advantage but not always required.

Front of House (FOH) Staff contribute significantly to the overall dining experience and are often the face of the establishment. This role requires individuals who are personable, attentive, and skilled at multitasking. FOH Staff often have the opportunity to interact directly with customers and contribute to creating positive memories for guests, making it a rewarding position within the hospitality industry. We provide training to ensure that FOH Staff are familiar with the menu, service standards, and company policies.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: RM1,800.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
