About the Company
Our client is the leader in dehumidification. They started in 1964 in USA and had a JV in India in 1983 and have been established in Malaysia since 1990. The opening will be based in Klang Valley.
They are a global solution provider for dehumidifiers, gas phase filtration, plastics drying, dry rooms, high temperature waste heat recovery and Air to Air energy recover systems for Green Buildings, with subsidiaries in China, Malaysia, Brazil, Nigeria and Switzerland, and an associate plant in the USA.
Job Description for General Manager reporting the CEO
- Based in Bandar Baru Bangi
- Execute different business strategies to support company growth and business expansion
- Formulate and implement business covering the entire Southeast Asia
- Manage the assembly plant
- To manage company's overall operations
- Support sales teams and key account managers
- Manage budgets and sales revenue efficiently
- Maintain project timelines to ensure tasks are accomplished effectively
- Build a high-performance team and train low-level managers and staff.
- Demonstrated P&L experience managing multiple functions set up in Malaysia and Southeast Asia.
- Responsible for determining the company's annual financial budget, final accounts plan, profit distribution plan and loss recovery plan.
- Submit work reports as required
Job Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering. Additional MBA degree or in HVAC field will be an advantage.
- At least 10 years of successful managerial experience
- Knowledge of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow management, and general finance and budgeting.
- Willing to travel overseas at least once a month
- Experienced in Industrial Sales and Regional exposure across SEA region
- High Energy, Excellent communication, collaboration, negotiation and delegation skills
- Ability to motivate and lead employees, and hold them accountable
Remuneration
- Annually: Up to RM 300,000++
**Salary**: RM23,000.00 - RM25,000.00 per month
- Performance bonus
