**Position**: DMR Caseworker (Medical FAP Unit)

**Department**: Medical

**Location**: In-Field with 1 Day /Week in the KL Office in Bukit Gasing, 46000 Petaling Jaya, Selangor

**Employment**: 3-Months

**Duration**:Part-Time, 3 Days /Week, from 9AM-6PM, for 3 Months starting July 2024

**Requirements**:

- Any qualification in sciences or healthcare is preferred, though not mandatory, or individuals with an interest in medicine are also encouraged to apply
- Past experience in healthcare settings, such as hospitals or community clinics, or case management roles within medical organisations is preferred, though not mandatory
- Basic understanding of medical terminology, patient care and healthcare administration is encouraged
- Proficiency in office administration duties, including record-keeping, scheduling, and procurement of medical supplies
- Availability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends, to support project-related activities as needed
- Ability to work remotely and in the field
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with healthcare providers, patients, families and external stakeholders
- Familiarity with Google Workspace, particularly Google Docs and Google Sheets, for collaboration and document management
- Fluent in both English and Malay, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages

**Responsibilities (Internal Operations)**:

- Patient Management: Coordinate patient intake and follow-up care, maintain patient records, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
- Office Administration: Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and communication within the FAP Unit
- Casework Activity: Conduct patient and home visits, and collaborate with volunteer doctors, social service agencies, and community organisations to ensure comprehensive patient care

**Compensation**:

- 3-Months
