Hse Technician

**Role Summary**

Supporting Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) activities for the Process and Pipelines Services (PPS) team and provides HSE technical guidance following the company policies and procedures and applicable legislation, standard, both for field operations and facility operations (worksites).

**Responsibilities**
- Developing and implementing HSE Management System at worksites; This includes developing Project HSE documentation and Facility HSE documentation such as Project HSE (Management) Plan, Facility Emergency Response Plan, Facility HSE Manual and Facility Risk Register.
- Be visible and approachable for all HSE matters within all level of personnel within business structure as well as project structure.
- Support PPS Project Manager / Engineer and site team to ensure compliance with applicable HSE laws, regulations and requirements applicable at worksites;
- Support PPS Facility/ Base Manager/ Focal Point and facility team to ensure compliance with applicable HSE Laws, regulations and requirements
- Investigate all Incident/Near Miss events and complete the RCA investigation report at worksites with a final report to be provided to PPS HSE Manager and Project Manager; the incident investigation process shall include collecting evidence including witness statement, photos, video, documentation, product, and data sheet.
- Support and review worksites JHA/JSA (or equivalent document), which shall be prepared by field operation/ facility team
- Support external HSE audits/ self-assessment on worksites by Client and/ or the company.
- Being responsible of all HSE documents recordkeeping on worksites which shall be readily available for any audits/inspections internal and external;
- Provide guidance to PPS team in obtaining Permit to Work (PTW), Management of Change (MOC), LOTO appliance and other relevant HSE system.
- Organize relevant and suitable worksites HSE orientation to new employees/ visitors whenever required particularly prior allowing individual personnel to perform any task at the worksites;
- Organize HSE event/ program/ initiative/ training that recommended by Corporate HSE, PPS Global HSE, PPS Region HSE and/ or client HSE for the particular worksites, together with the worksites team
- Provide periodical Tool Box Talk HSE themes to the team and actively participate in relevant HSE programs organized by customer and/ or respective authorities;
- Provide daily/weekly/ monthly report as required by HSE team, including worksites HSE statistics and compliance status; HSE statistical report may include manhours, incident statistic, HSE Inspection record, Observation report, HSE training report and relevant Environmental report
- Share relevant HSE Lesson Learn from client with other HSE team member within PPS.
- To act as Site HSE Focal Point as assigned
- To assist PPS HSE Manager in responding to Tender inquiry process which including responding to HSE questionnaires and providing evidence to support the justification in the inquiries
- To assist PPS HSE Manager in facilitating and coordinating HSE Training System within the PPS team and applicable worksites
- To assist PPS HSE Manager in reviewing applicable contractual requirements, standard and legislation that related to the specific PPS worksites. Based on the review, to recommend any relevant control measures to the respective PPS Leader/ Focal Point.

**Qualifications/Requirements**:

- Degree qualified in HSE discipline (or equivalent);
- Minimum three (3) years of field experience in HSE (preferable in O&G Full stream);
- Registered and Competent Safety and Health Officer by DOSH (or equivalent) is an advantage.
- Medically fit and active personality
- Able to travel both domestic and international

Role Requirements
- Contract duration: 12 months
- Salary (Monthly): MYR5,000.00 - 8,000.00
- Other Allowances (overtime, standby / travel rate, completion bonus and etc): NA
- Rotation/Work Schedule: Mon - Fri / 8.00AM - 5.00PM
- Location: Jalan Tun Razak, Kuala Lumpur
