We’re currently seeking certain highly technical SOC engineers (Cyber, AWS, API, Python) to deliver a range of technical SOC support and development As SOC engineer (Cyber, AWS, AWS Security Product, AWS security Hub, API, Python), you will be deployed into our internal client’s Incident Response and Security Analyst on Demand. You will be involved in spearheading the response effort to a live cyber-attack, through to supporting the teams with technical analysis of the latest advanced threat groups. To be considered for this role you will need to be a proactive problem solver willing to develop and learn new skills. This is a deeply technical role working with AWS - API, AWS Security Hub, AWS security products, Python, is a must. The team is actively developing Security Products, as such there is real opportunity for training and development.

Responsibilities - Assist in the completion of day-to-day checklist(s), including log review, alert analysis, and escalation follow up activity status.
- Perform event and incident analysis.
- Provide timely advice and guidance on the response action plans for events and incidents based on incident type and severity.
- Follow detailed operational processes and procedures to analyse, escalate, and support the remediation of critical information security incidents.
- Assist in the documentation and reporting of changes, trends and implications concerning the design and integration of evolving systems and solutions.
- Contribute to documentation owned by the SOC team including but not limited to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Remain current on cyber security trends and intelligence (open source and commercial) in order to assist in the security analysis & identification capabilities of the SOC team.
- When necessary, and with the SOC Lead guidance, devise, and document new operational procedures
- Collaborate with technical architects and partners to identity and validate emerging opportunities.
- Assist the SOC Lead in relevant compliance efforts.
- Utilise best practice and industry standards in performing daily operations.
- Work with internal clients and leads and architects in the delivery and ongoing management of secure AWS solutions. Requirements - An enthusiastic, well-presented, strong communicator to engage with internal clients and provide clearly understandable security advice to key stakeholders. - A proven track record of successful delivery of engagements in cyber security;
- Understanding of the current trends, standards and developments in cyber and information security;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines. - Familiar with AWS environment and operation is an essential skillset. - Familiar with AWS Security Hub, AWS Security Products (e.g. AWS GuardDuty /Macie/Route 53/ Inspector / IAM Identity Canter)

**Essential Skills**
- Minimum 4 years' experience as a SOC Analyst or relevant role in SOC team.
- Degree qualified or equivalent in Information Security, IT, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related
- Relevant product-specific training and accreditation (e.g., AWS, Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft

Azure, networking technologies, etc.);
