Job Summary
Perform the accounts payable function including commission payment to distributors and the related reconciliation; maintain bank records, prepare month end standard journal, general ledger reconciliation and other support to month end closing
**Responsibilities**:
- Perform a three-way match on all vendor invoices by verifying price, quantities and authorization with the purchase order, receiving documents (including original source documents) and the vendor invoice;
- Research problems that pertain to invoices by looking for improper authorization, dollar amounts, quantities, problems with receiving; and deal politely and professionally with internal staff and vendors to resolve problems;
- Know the General Ledger (GL) account structure and verify the accurate use of GL accounts;
- Know and use Oracle Accounts Payables (AP) module including entering approved invoices and payments;
- Know standard recurring invoices and ensure proper accruals are provided to Assistant Finance Manager at month end close where invoices have not been received;
- Verify and process the weekly commission payment to distributor on a timely and accurately basis by working with Distributor Service team and Bank of America to resolve any discrepancy or abnormality identified in processing the payment.
- Track unpaid commission and commission rejected by banks and follow up with Distributor Service Team. Perform the related reconciliation for month end closing;
- Perform other duties or handle ad hoc project as assigned;
Qualifications/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Requirements
- Good working knowledge in Microsoft Excel, EPR system and familiar with US MNC environment will be added advantage;
- Meticulous and detailed oriented with analytical mindset;
- Good problem solving skill and able to work under pressure and meet aggressive deadlines;
- Self starter with minimum supervision;
- Good verbal & written communication and interpersonal skills;
**Salary**: From RM3,000.00 per month
