**_Job Summary_**

The Accounts Manager is responsible for all accounting activities related to month end, forecasting, and budgeting of the incumbent organization in order to ensure accurate financial statements and forecasting. The position requires ensuring that all financial reporting meets compliance with governmental institutions as required by Law.

**_Responsibilities: _**
- Lead, drive and supervise the Accounts team to ensure smooth daily operation and ensure sufficient cash flow.
- To support & lead the business growth together with the management team.
- Oversee the end-to-end accounts functions and manage the month-end closing activities as well as financial, management, and group reporting requirements.
- Monitor financial statements to ensure compliance with all accounting standards, company policies, and statutory requirements and provide timely and accurate financial reports to Management.
- To liaise and lead with Auditor, Tax Agent & Government regulators to ensure timeline of submission of account internally to management and externally to government agencies.
- Provide complete and accurate reports submission (on both regular and ad-hoc basis), which is inclusive of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and costing as well as all other transactions and documentation.
- To review and monitor all internal controls and accounting-related standard operating procedures in order to safeguard the company's assets and interests.
- Responsible to ensure accuracy and sufficient funds for the company assigned by liaising with the Director and internal department Heads.
- Liaise and lead with bankers, and financiers for banking facility matters independently.
- Responsible for the compilation of information and data for banking matters, and monitoring cash inflow and outflow diligently.
- Ability to manage a group of companies, understanding the intercompany transaction is mandatory
- Perform any other ad-hoc activities as and when required by the Management.

**_Requirements_**
- Able to lead and work independently, and mentor subordinates.
- Self-driven and able to work under pressure with tight deadlines for monthly reports and closing as well as related ad hoc activities.
- Flexible and result-oriented in approach.
- Strong analytical and planning skills as well as problem-solving with strong financial judgment.
- Experience in liaising with senior bankers on funding requirements & project accounting.
- Good organizers, and the ability to prioritize workload and work within tight deadlines.
- Experience in transitioning departments into digitalization of the company is an advantage
- Ability to use own initiative and quick decisions to deal with unexpected situations.

**_Qualifications_**
- At least 5-7 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Preferred Charted Account is an advantage
- Excellent command of spoken and written English
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel, financial planning & analysis, forecasting, and financial compliance.

**Salary**: RM5,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
