We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Contracts Manager to join our team. The Contracts Manager will play a critical role in supporting our organization throughout the project lifecycle, from bidding and contract negotiation, project execution, to the closing of the contract.

**WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING**
- ** Bidding Stage**:

- Review and analyze contract documents, ensuring compliance with legal and company requirements.
- Collaborate with the bidding team to identify and mitigate contractual risks and propose suitable contract terms.
- Advise and provide guidance on contractual matters during the bidding process.
- Participate in bid reviews, highlighting contractual obligations, risks, and opportunities.
- ** Contract Negotiation**
- Lead contract negotiations with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
- Identify areas for negotiation and develop strategies to protect the company's interests.
- Draft, review, and finalize contracts, including change orders and amendments, in collaboration with legal counsel and relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure contracts are accurately documented, stored, and easily accessible for reference.
- ** Post Contract Award**
- Act as the primary point of contact for contract-related matters during project execution.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure contract compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review change orders, modifications, and other variations to contracts and assess their impact on project deliverables and financials.
- Provide guidance and support to project teams on contract interpretation and implementation.
- Monitor and track contract performance, including milestones, deliverables, and payment terms.
- ** Risk Management**
- Identify and assess contractual risks, proposing mitigation strategies and alternative approaches as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company policies in all contractual activities.
- Monitor and address any potential disputes or claims arising from contracts, working closely with legal counsel when required.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of industry standards, best practices, and emerging trends in contract management.
- ** Contract Closeout**
- Ensure all contractual obligations, including deliverables, warranties, and documentation requirements, are met.
- Collaborate with the operations and finance teams to finalize all financial aspects of the contract, including final billing and reconciliation.
- Conduct a comprehensive review of project records and documentation to ensure compliance with contract terms.
- Prepare and submit final reports, closeout documents, and other required deliverables as per contractual requirements.

**WHAT YOU’LL NEED**
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-6 years of proven experience as a Contracts Manager or similar role, preferably from the following sectors: civil engineering, construction, renewables, oil and gas, offshore, ports, and mining.
- Solid understanding of contract law, negotiation techniques, and commercial terms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Familiarity with project management principles and practices is a plus.
- Professional certifications such as CPCM (Certified Professional Contracts Manager) or CCM (Certified Commercial Contracts Manager) are advantageous.
