Requirement walkthrough - Query clarification and resolution for Requirement - Impact Analysis preparation, review and closure - High level estimate preparation, review and closure - Test Strategy preparation, review and closure - Engage and assess with technical vendor and understand their proposed test scope, processes and timeline - Test Strategy - High Level Test Estimate - Test Impact Analysis - Test Plan preparation, review/walkthrough and closure - Identify key testers and confirm availability - Determine approach to training of key testers - Plan logistics and ensure availability of facilities and other resources, e.g., testing facilities, connectivity, etc. Mandatory: - SIT Test Plan - UAT Test Plan If applicable: - Data Migration Test Plan - Performance Test Feasibility Report (optional) - Performance Test Plan - ORT Test Plan - Automation Test Feasibility Report (optional) - Automation Test Plan - Test Scenario, Test Case and RTM preparation, review and closure - Preparation of Test Design Status report (optional) - weekly - Liaise with the bank’s systems team and technical vendor on readiness of test environments - Test Data requirement request and test data setup - Liaise with the bank’s systems team and technical vendor on the load of production data or preparation of additional test data in the test environments, in accordance to the agreed test scenarios and test cases - Ensure appropriate user access; with adequate access levels prepared and set-up for key identified testers prior to commencement of testing - Project and user IDs creation in Defect Management Tool - User briefing for defect management tool (if required) - Test kick off meeting - Approved Test Scenarios & Cases - Approved Requirements traceability matrix (optional) - Test data sheet (optional) - Detail Test Estimate (if applicable) - Perform Smoke Testing in test environment prior actual test execution starts - Issue closure found in Smoke testing if any - Redeploy code for test execution - Test Execution - Preparation of Test Execution Status report (Daily) - Performance Test Run Report (per cycle) walkthrough with project team - Defect logging in Defect Management Tool (JIRA) - Test Result review after defect closure - Linking defect to the respective test cases - Conduct Defect Triage meeting with Participation from other team (IT, SA, BA, AD, etc.). - Understand, review and prioritise identified defects/issues throughout the testing process - Test extension planning if needed based on Project health and exit criteria - Test Metrics preparation - Monitor data quality throughout testing activities and ensure that it meets data mapping specifications - Test results and defect logs - All test cases executed and passed - Test progress report (daily/weekly) - All critical defects re-tested and closed - Analysis of Test Metrics - Test Approval report creation, review/ walkthrough and closure - Post Test review meeting for commencing the next test phase - Responsible for reporting all the applicable metrics / SLAs as per communication plan to bank’s TCOE team - Obtain sign-off on test phase prior to commencement of deployment - Test Approval Report with sign off - GIA checklists: - UAT Audit Checklist - Payment System Audit Checklist - Security Matrix Audit Checklist - Data Conversion Audit Checklist OTHERS Processes are not always executed as expected due to some constraints/challengers. Any divergence from an agreed process is termed as Process Deviation.
