**Responsibilities**:

- Operate and manage the pastry section of a kitchen, working together with the other baker.
- Prepare a variety of baked goods.
- Decorate and present pastries and baked goods to ensure appealing presentation.
- Create new and exciting desserts to renew our menus and engage the interest of customers and keep up with the latest trends.
- Monitor and order ingredients, supplies and equipment and make appropriate orders within budget.
- Check quality of material and condition of equipment and devices used for baking.
- Ensure the bakery section of the kitchen adheres to health and safety regulations.
- Identify staffing needs, help to recruit new personnel and train them.

**Job Requirement**
- Culinary school degree/diploma in culinary arts, pastry-making, baking, or relevant field.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision.
- Organizing and leadership skills.
- Willing to work long hours and weekends and public holidays.
- Work location - Oval Damansara, Kuala Lumpur.
