Brief Responsibilities- Job Requirement- Perform tele-medical consultation with patients and advise them on possible diagnoses, necessary immediate treatment and/or advise on necessary further treatment needed at a healthcare centre (necessity based on medical condition and location of client).
- Monitor medical cases to determine compatibility of medical condition and treatment by reviewing medical reports and conducting medical telephone contact with patient.
- Thorough case documentation with appropriate clinical review.
- Work in collaboration with personnel from other departments within the company to facilitate and enhanced customer experience and medical outcomes.
- Participate in staff development through case related experiential training, content specific training in any medical field.
- Oversee and supervise medical case management activities by Nurse Managers.
- Participate in providing relevant medical knowledge presentations and health talks to various public and/or corporate clients.
- Conduct any other healthcare projects as deemed necessary by the company, both clinical and non-clinical.
- Be willing to be placed at any of the clinics within the Qualitas group of clinics as the need arises
- MBBS or equivalent professional medical degree.
- Registered with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC).
- A valid and current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).
- At least 5 years of clinical working experience as a medical practitioner.
- Computer savvy with good knowledge of office-based systems (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in any additional local language is an added advantage.
- Able to articulate and speak well with patients on a digital platform.
- Has a vibrant and charismatic character with good positive vibes to help those in need on the tele-consults.
- Willing to undertake additional health talks or the like in promoting ease of health services to patients.
- Able to cater to house-calls within a stipulated coverage area for patients who need them.
- Knowledge in handling tele-medical consults, digital health programmes, providing health talks will be an added advantage.
