**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Assists Chief Housekeeper in implementing day to day Housekeeping operations and staff supervision.
- Assumes responsibilities of Chief Housekeeper in his / her absence.
- Directs the work assignments of supervisory and non-supervisory personnel.
- Monitors Housekeeping personnel to ensure tenants receive efficient, prompt and courteous services so that tenant’s satisfaction is optimized.
- In conjunction with the Chief Housekeeper, makes regular courtesy visits to tenants Administration Manager or tenants other staff as appropriate to obtain feedback on level of tenant satisfaction and to market Housekeeping Services to tenants.
- Schedules routine inspections with Supervisors of all Housekeeping areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness are consistently achieved and that building fixtures and facilities are clean, well maintained and repaired or replaced as required. Makes recommendations to Chief Housekeepers to bring any outstanding building maintenance or repairs to the attention of the Chief Engineer.
- Investigate complaints and takes corrective action.
- Establishes and maintains effective employee relations.
- Assists Chief Housekeeper on personal related matters such as interviewing, appraising and counseling.
- Maintains appropriate standards of hygiene, uniforms, appearance, posture and conduct of departmental employees.
- Assists in identifying on the job training needs, developing formal training plans and implementing training sessions.
- Follows up on progress of agenda items covered in regular meetings.
- Ensures Housekeeping personal are familiar with building facilities for the purpose of assisting tenants.
- Assists in the preparation of Housekeeping Departmental budget and monthly reports (statistics of staff strength, sales / revenue and expenses).
- Assists in monitoring and controlling on an on-going basis departmental costs to ensure performance against budget.
- Maintains a steady flow of communications to the Chief Housekeeper of all matters effecting the Housekeeping Department.
- Supervises inventories of cleaning materials, provisions and operating equipment to ensure costs are controlled and loss of equipment is prevented.
- Liaises with outside contractors as required during tenants Fit-out and move-in / move-out.
- Assists in monitoring and controlling Housekeeping procedures including lost and found, key control, and those sections of the emergency procedures relevant to Housekeeping Department.
- Monitors the operating procedures for personal lifts, scaffold, abseiling, gondola and pest control operations to ensure operational efficiency and the safety of employees.

**Salary**: From RM3,000.00 per month
