Material Assistant

**Responsibilities**
- Create, verify, modify, cleansing and maintain the accuracy of stock master data and parameter for inventory management and sourcing.
- Issue and modify MSR/ RPO as replenished quantity advised by Material Analyst to maintain stock at optimum level as well as to ensure the availability of material to support operations and projects.
- Prepare and analyse material monthly reports including Stock Availability Report, Zero Stock Report, Inventory Report, Stock Transfer Issue Report, and Pending MSR Report as per requirement to support team and distribute to related parties; User, Finance, Warehouse, Expeditor, Purchaser for monitoring the efficiency of inventory management, etc.
- Check, verify and ensure the invoices for stock material purchase against good receipt in the system with the supporting documents required as per approved work plan & budget (WPB).
- Participate as a team member for Year-End Stock Take Exercise to perform stock count to ensure the accuracy of inventory without discrepancies; Prepare Physical Inventory Data Report, Stock Inventory Report with Bin Location and coordinate with warehouse team to generate Stock Count Report, etc.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by Superior.

**Qualification & Experience**
- Degree / Diploma in Logistics, Business Administration or related fields.
- 1-2 years relevant experiences in Supply Chain.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Understanding of material planning, inventory control, inventory system management.
- Integrity and accuracy of stock management
- Minimize stock holding and maximize stock service level
- Knowledge of stock management software package (SAP).
- High degree of commercial awareness with good understanding of the impact of various factors on business.
- Good decision-making. Able to tackle issue/problems based on through analysis and evaluation of possible options.
- Strong relationship building and networking ability.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 4 months

Pay: Up to RM3,000.00 per month
