**Job Description** ROLE SUMMARY**:
As part of the key role in Buyer Community team, Buyer Development Manager focuses on developing key buyer community for our Designated portfolio. The incumbent shall develop recruitment and engagement go to strategies to achieve new key buyers’ recruitment and existing buyers’ retention

The incumbent will be apt in building strong relationships with key buyers in identifying their sourcing needs and requirements to promote their new supplier acquisition in our exhibition.

The goal is to contribute in sustaining and growing business revenue by ensuring the key buyers sourcing needs are met and constant growth of key buyers onboarding to our exhibition. At the same time, promote value propositions to suppliers with our ability to deliver procurement acquisitioned with support of a global network.

**PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Develop, implement, and optimize buyer development strategies to compliment sales efforts in recruiting new buyers in targeted industry across regions register to our database
- Drive new buyers prospecting, high quality new buyers’ recruitment and engagement in all regions through all possible channels.
- Develop, engage, and build relationship strategies with industry stakeholders to acquire new buyer prospects
- Be the strategic partner and advisor to the key buyers, go beyond to discover their sourcing needs and requirements. Retain and nurture those key relationships over time strategically
- Gather market intelligence and research data to gain market insights about buyer sourcing needs and trends to design go-to-market campaign strategy to reach out potential high-quality buyers
- Ongoing follow up and clean up new buyer leads, sourcing information in Database Management system
- Provide full onboarding, customer service and administrative support to key buyers that agree to attend supplier buyer business matching program.
- Working closely with marketing team to generate call-to-action buyer promotion campaigns
- Proactively share any updates and bridge the related industry trend, needs and insight from key buyer with Company’s Designated portfolio stakeholders.

**Qualifications** POSITION REQUIREMENTS**:

- Degree holder or above in Marketing / Advertising / Business or related disciplines
- More than 8 years’ experience in related industry sales or procurement consultative services.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Chinese and English
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
- Proficiency with customer relationship management software, such as Salesforce, is an advantage
- Good attention to detail, self-initiative and excellent organizational skills; ability in problem-solving and customer centric
- Experience working in a collaborative environment, working with immediate and extended teams
- Passion for digital with a strong interest in a customer success, dedicate to achieve team and personal goals
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Occasionally travel is required.
