**Overview**

Your primary focus is to ensure the success of our retail merchandising business, including planning, development, implementation, and daily operations. This aims to enhance the presence of our intellectual properties (IP) in the retail space, aligning with the overall licensing and merchandising strategy.

You are expected to stay up-to-date with current and emerging market, product, and consumer trends that will provide invaluable insights to create products that connect with consumers and drive compelling purchase decisions.

**Responsibilities**
- Understand market trends, consumer preferences, merchandise retail landscapes and competitors analysis to gain insights that guide retail merchandising strategy, partners sourcing, and product development
- Research, identify, pitch, and secure strategic retail partnerships that align with our business objectives and commercial goals
- Engage and maintain good relationships with retail partners to ensure smooth operations from display, signage placements, inventory planning and management to sales performance monitoring
- Identify, develop and manage product assortment to align with business goals, ensuring strategic use of volume pricing, and incorporating retail sales insights for product development
- Plan stock allocation for each store, liaise with warehouses and stores to coordinate all orders and deliveries, and organize stock transfers and movement
- Develop and implement POG tailored to the specific requirements of various retailers and locations, with the goal of capturing shopper attention and ultimately driving sales conversion
- Periodic site inspection to ensure correct POG implementation and seasonal POG reset
- Develop and execute marketing plans to drive retail merchandise sales
- Monitor and track retail business performance, revenue collection and report, and generate sales performance and inventory reports
- Maintain comprehensive records of all retail partnerships’ contracts, communications, and legal documentation and facilitate resolution between retailers for any sales/product related issues

**Requirements**:

- Require a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in retail business development and operations with a strong understanding of business and growth strategy
- Capable of engaging in conversations at various levels of seniority, effortlessly establishing rapport with stakeholders, and possessing strong negotiation skills
- Demonstrate an understanding of market trends and the capacity to provide informed opinions and insights to guide business strategy and growth action plans
- Proficient in extracting insights from diverse sources and the ability to translate them into actionable data to drive business
- Have a keen eyes for details
- Willing to travel
- Ability to speak fluently in other languages is an advantage
- Degree in Marketing, Business, or Supply Chain Management with a relevant retail background
