**COOK**:

- DIETETIC & FOOD SERVICES DEPARTMENT _

**Responsibilities
- Prepare the ingredients for meals preparation according to standard recipes of

choices menus and number of meals to meet the customers’ needs and minimize
food waste.
- Cook the meals according to standard recipe and method to achieve the

recommended quality and safety.
- Prepare meals according to restrictive diet accordingly and pack patient snacks

according to patients’ need.
- Maintain personal hygiene and cleanliness of workstation by cleaning the

equipment, utensils and working area to ensure food safety including be alert of any
physical hazard that may contaminate into food.
- Adhere to food safety procedures and HALAL standard.
- Participate in department quality improvement activity.
- Perform any other task assigned by the management.

**Requirements
- Possess SPM or Cert/Diploma in Culinary Art from catering institution
- Able to cook variety local/ international cuisine.
- Able to read and write in Malay language and understand basic English language.
- Good hygiene maintenance and high awareness on cleanliness.
- Possess at least one (1) year experience as a cook at hotel, restaurant or any

relevant industry.
