Purchasing Assistant

1. Ensure Purchasing department is carried out in compliance to the company policy and department’s standard operating procedures 2. Strong organizational skills, a good understanding of sourcing and the ability to maintain vendor relationship 3. Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure all products arrive and storage in good condition 4. Issue Purchase order to supplier & follow up on the orders to ensure that materials are delivered on committed date. 5. Upkeep and maintain proper filing and documentation system 6. Coordinate activity involve with procuring goods & services 7. To carry out other duties assign by the superior from time to time 8. To be responsible for updating all ISO documents / forms relating to the Purchasing department 9. To verify of all suppliers’ invoice after matching of invoices to delivery orders and purchase orders for payment purpose Requirements 1. Preferably Entry level specialized in Purchasing / Inventory/Material & warehouse Management or equivalent 2. At least 1 - 2 years of experience would be an added advantage 3. Computer literate 4. Independent and able to work under minimum supervision 5. Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
