Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team and uphold our commitment to exceptional culinary experiences within our framework. As the Executive Chef, you will oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring that food quality, taste, and presentation consistently meet our franchise's high standards. Your leadership skills and dedication to maintaining our established culinary standards are crucial in this role.
**Responsibilities**:
- Oversee all kitchen operations to ensure food quality, taste, and presentation adhere strictly to franchise standards.
- Ensure consistency across all dishes in line with our franchise recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Lead and manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed, optimizing cost efficiency while adhering to franchise requirements.
- Enforce health and safety regulations in the kitchen to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop strategies for business growth and profitability within the franchise guidelines.
- Monitor kitchen equipment and coordinate repairs or replacements as necessary to ensure seamless operations.
- Travel domestically and internationally for franchise training sessions & workshops
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role, preferably in a Casual Fine Dining restaurant environment.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in kitchen management
- Expertise in managing stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Expertise in managing kitchen operations with a focus on adhering to set recipes and presentation standards.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Experience with inventory management and cost control practices.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally for professional development and franchise-related engagements.
