As a Reporter-Writer based in Singapore, you will be tasked with producing high-quality 2-3 daily journalistic articles under strict deadlines. Your primary responsibility will be to research, investigate, and write engaging articles on a diverse range of topics for publication. You must be able to work under mínimal supervision to generate ideas, gather information, conduct interviews, and write compelling narratives that resonate with our audience.

**Core Functions**
- Produce 2-3 high-quality and well-researched articles per day covering a variety of topics as assigned by the editorial team.
- Conduct thorough research to gather information from various sources including interviews, press releases, and online resources.
- Write clear, concise, and engaging articles that adhere to the publication's style and guidelines.
- Strictly meet tight deadlines and manage time effectively to ensure timely delivery of articles.
- Must work under mínimal supervision to generate article ideas, gather information, conduct interviews, and write compelling narratives.
- Stay up-to-date with current events, trends, and developments in relevant fields to generate fresh and relevant story ideas.
- Maintain accuracy and integrity in reporting by fact-checking information and verifying sources.
- Develop and nurture relationships with key sources, experts, and contacts within assigned beats.
- Adapt writing style and tone to suit different audiences and platforms, including print, online, and social media.

**Minimum Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or related field.
- Strong academic background with coursework emphasizing writing, research, and critical thinking skills.
- Knowledge of journalistic principles, ethics, and practices.
- Must be up-to-date with global and local current events relevant to our audience.
- Must have own equipment (Laptop, mobile phone, etc.)
- Additional certifications or coursework in multimedia journalism, digital storytelling, or related areas is a plus.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 1 month

Pay: Up to RM4,000.00 per month
