Wintel Specialist

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Install, setup and configure Windows servers 2019, 2016 i.e. physical and virtual machine setup in VMware
- Implement server clustering and perform HA failover test scenarios.
- Troubleshooting system related issues e.g. system performance issues, configuration errors.
- Perform Server OS patching.
- Perform system hardening and work towards getting system hardening review signoff
- Perform windows scripting whenever necessary. Basic Vsphere administration knowledge (add RDM disk, perform V-motion)
- Assist in logistics preparation for new system setup in Data centre

**Requirements**:
A) Hardware technical skill
- Perform hardware replacements and validate replaced component's functionalities
- Provide design and sizing consultancy and recommendation on Windows Server / VMware relate configuration

B) Microsoft Windows Server Operating System
- Perform troubleshooting and resolve issues on Windows Servers Operating System
- Provide setup and configuration for Windows Servers Operating System
- Enforce and validate all required policy and security configurations on Windows Server Operating System
- Setup of Microsoft Failover Cluster with Veritas Info scale cluster disk and perform troubleshooting of failover cluster issues

C) Vmware Vcenter and ESXi Hypervisor
- Perform creation and basic configuration of virtual machines
- Perform basic administration on DataStore, snapshot management and virtual switch
- Plan and provide consultancy on Vmware architecture design, upgrade approach and implementation plans

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: RM3,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cyberjaya: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

- Wintel: 3 years (preferred)
- VMWare: 3 years (preferred)
