Job Qualifications: 1. Education: Enrolled in a Civil Engineering or related degree program at an accredited university or college. 2. Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of civil engineering principles, construction techniques, and relevant software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D). 3. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders. 4. Problem-Solving Abilities: Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve engineering challenges. 5. Initiative and Adaptability: Willingness to learn, take initiative, and adapt to new tasks and environments. 6. Attention to Detail: Meticulous in reviewing project documentation and construction work for accuracy and quality. 7. Work Ethics: Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and a strong work ethic. Job Responsibilities: 1. To support civil engineers and project managers in designing and planning civil engineering projects, Including infrastructure development, building construction, transportation systems, and water resource management. 2. To assist on construction sites by monitoring progress, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. 3. To participate in surveying activities to gather data for project analysis and mapping purposes. 4. To assist in reviewing and interpreting construction drawings, blueprints, and project specifications. 5. To help in estimating quantities of materials required for construction projects and assist in cost estimation. 6. To learn about environmental impact assessments and contribution to sustainable construction practices. 7. To analyse data related to construction projects, and assist in preparing reports and presentations. 8. To work with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, structural engineers, and project managers in order to ensure effective project coordination. 9. To assist in conducting tests on construction materials and equipment to ensure quality and compliance with standards. 10. To learn and follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment on construction sites.
