Job Description

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in training programme design, competency framework development, and workforce planning. They will assist in designing and structuring the Associate Engineer Programme in collaboration with business units.

The Specialist will lead the implementation of the Associate Engineer Programme, ensuring alignment with its design and business expectations. They will work closely with the business to develop and maintain a Competency Framework for critical roles.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing and guiding the Academy team and volunteers, ensuring efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determining required Associate Engineers and budget allocation based on business direction and workforce needs.
  • Designing and structuring the Associate Engineer Programme.
  • Partnering with the Talent Acquisition (TA) team to co-develop the recruitment process and oversee its execution.
  • Implementing the Associate Engineer Programme and ensuring alignment with its design and business expectations.
  • Maintaining a Competency Framework for critical roles.
  • Designing and enhancing training programmes to improve workforce capabilities.
  • Managing and guiding the Academy team and volunteers.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree holders with at least 5 years of relevant experience OR Diploma holders with at least 8 years of experience.
  • Strong familiarity with Engineering disciplines and industry activities.
  • Knowledge of Engineering functions and industry best practices.
  • Experience in training programme design, competency framework development, and workforce planning.
