Huntsman Corporation is now looking for a dynamic individual as a Learning & Development Partner. The Learning & Development Partner plays a crucial role in empowering employees in APAC to achieve their full potential and aligning learning initiatives with strategic business objectives. As a trusted partner to stakeholders at all levels, the ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual who has a proven track record of designing, implementing, and evaluating impactful learning programs. By ensuring the effective execution of learning strategies, the L&D Partner contributes to achieving learning-related goals and supports the organization's long-term growth and success.

The ideal candidate will be located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

As a Learning & Development Partner you will:
  1. Instructor Led Training: Facilitation of learning and development programs related to business and leadership skills, which will include a combination of in-person and virtual delivery.
  2. Program Design: Assist in the instructional design of new programs to meet business needs and employee development goals.
  3. Cross – Functional Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including HRBPs and leaders. Collaborate closely to understand their specific development needs, provide strategic advice, and ensure the successful implementation of learning initiatives.
  4. E-Learning: Promote E-learning content and create development tracks with LinkedIn Learning.
  5. Learning & Development Programs: Assist with the annual planning process of gathering internal nominations, developing the annual calendar, and tracking of participants. Support the Americas Learning & Development Manager, Human Resources Business Partners, and Stakeholders with training coordination and logistics.
  6. Shared Services Center Learning Roadmap: support the Shared Services learning roadmap for Kuala Lumpur.
  7. Management Reporting: Generate HRIS reports, conduct data analysis, and provide executive summaries for management reporting.
  8. Leadership Assessments: Manage the third-party assessment process, which will include initiating new requests, communication with internal stakeholders, and generating reports.
  9. Onboarding Program: Support the effective onboarding of all associates in Kuala Lumpur.
  10. Learning Management System (LMS): Assist with LMS requests and collaborate with the HR Shared Services organization on providing LMS support across the region.
  11. Vendor Management: Request new vendor creation, manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders, process invoices, and collaborate with the purchasing group as needed.
What skills and experiences are we looking for?
  1. Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Management, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related field.
  2. 5+ years of HR experience, which includes experience in Learning and Development.
  3. Prior experience facilitating training both in person and virtually.
  4. Fluency in English required, fluency in Mandarin is a plus.
  5. Prior experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is preferred, experience with Workday Learning is a plus.
  6. Prior experience with leadership assessments is a plus.
  7. Facilitation: Facilitation skills with delivering training to groups, both in person and virtually. Able to effectively engage the participant group. Leverages prior experience in providing relevant scenarios and examples with application of the training content.
  8. Proactiveness: Take initiative to propose solutions, and drive L&D initiatives without constant supervision. Demonstrates a growth mindset and continuously seeks opportunities to improve processes and outcomes.
  9. Customer Focus: Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their specific learning needs and provide strategic advice. Ensure that learning programs are designed with the end-user in mind, leading to high engagement and satisfaction.
  10. Communicates Effectively & Collaboration: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Builds partnerships and works collaboratively with HRBP and Business Leaders. Conveys information clearly, concisely, and professionally when speaking or writing.
  11. Planning and Organizing: Uses comprehensive knowledge and skills to work independently with planning, organizing, and prioritizing Learning and Development activities to meet business objectives.
  12. Managing Change and Ambiguity: Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities, analyze complex issues from multiple angles, explore issues to uncover root causes, and able to understand the consequences and implications of different solutions.
