Job Title: C# Backend Programmer

We are seeking an experienced C# Backend Programmer to join our team in a fully remote role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining backend systems, focusing on creating robust and scalable RESTful APIs, Worker Services, and Microservices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using C#, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.
  • Design and implement Worker Services in C# to handle background tasks, such as processing messages from queues, scheduled jobs, and other asynchronous operations.
  • Develop and manage Microservices architectures to build scalable, modular, and maintainable backend systems.
  • Test and debug APIs using Postman to ensure they meet required specifications and are free of errors.
  • Conduct stress testing using JMeter or similar tools to ensure system reliability and performance under high load conditions.
  • Integrate and manage Kafka for message queuing and real-time data processing.
  • Implement and manage Redis for caching and improving application performance.
  • Work with MariaDB and SQL for database management, including writing queries, optimizing performance, and ensuring data integrity.
  • Implement Elasticsearch for search functionality and data indexing.
  • Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration, ensuring consistent deployment environments across different stages of the project.
  • Manage code repositories using GitLab, collaborating with other team members and maintaining version control.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues as they arise, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to services.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in C# with a strong background in backend development.
  • Experience in developing RESTful APIs and working with web services.
  • Experience in designing and implementing Worker Services for background processing and asynchronous tasks.
  • Experience in developing and managing Microservices architectures.
  • Proficiency with Postman for API testing and JMeter (or similar) for stress testing.
  • Experience with Kafka for message queuing and real-time data pipelines.
  • Experience with Redis for caching and performance optimization.
  • Strong knowledge of MariaDB and SQL for database management.
  • Experience with Elasticsearch for search functionality and data indexing.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
  • Proficiency with GitLab for version control and repository management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with additional backend frameworks or programming languages.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture.
  • Strong understanding of software development best practices.
