About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our development team at Time's Group. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of backend technologies, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to design and implement robust and scalable server-side applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient backend systems and APIs.
  • Server-Side Logic: Implement server-side logic, define and maintain databases, and integrate various services and systems.
  • Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to design system architecture and technical specifications.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize backend systems for performance and scalability.
  • Security: Implement and maintain security best practices to protect data and ensure system integrity.
  • Database Management: Optimize database queries and manage database performance.
  • Mentorship: Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and provide technical guidance.
  • Code Refactoring: Continuously improve and refactor existing code to enhance performance and maintainability.
  • Technical Discussions: Participate in technical discussions and contribute to the overall improvement of development processes.
Requirements
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in Mandarin, both spoken and written.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in backend development.
  • Industry Knowledge: Comfortable engaging with various iGaming platforms.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Database Knowledge: Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases.
  • API Knowledge: Familiarity with GraphQL APIs.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills for mentoring and guiding junior developers.
  • Code Review: Ability to review and refine code to ensure it meets performance, security, and maintainability standards.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies as needed.
