Job Summary

The incumbent will manage capital structure, foreign currency risk, global liquidity, and bank relationships, playing a vital role in optimizing liquidity management in Europe and Asia Pacific and enhancing the Company's liquidity profile.

This position requires a self-starter with good leadership skills, able to work independently and as part of a global team. The ideal candidate should be proficient in mathematical and analytical skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, and possess strong problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage B+L's Asia Pacific (APAC) regional cash pool, including monitoring cash transactions and ensuring optimal cash pool balance.
  2. Act as a treasury partner for all APAC businesses, providing advice, guidance, and operational support on treasury and banking matters.
  3. Provide required cash management documentation for different departments, including cash pool balance and interest reallocation reports.
  4. Review monthly cash forecast, repatriation and funding decisions on the regional and legal entity level.
  5. Coordinate all APAC regional cash forecast activities with the corporate treasury team based in the USA.
  6. Analyze cash forecast variances and work with legal entity finance teams on improving cash forecast quality.
  7. Act as a point of contact for regional bank relationships, proactively exploring new products and services for the region.
  8. Administer APAC regional bank accounts, including account opening and closure procedures and signatory changes.
  9. Fx spot trading, supporting local finance teams in FX spot trading and related currency settlements.
  10. Provide inputs for corporate FX hedging program resulting from APAC regional cash pool activities.
  11. Manage electronic banking systems in the APAC region, including overseeing user access and entitlements.
  12. Review and implement improvements in cash management, implementing controls and procedures to ensure adequate regional cash pool balances.
  13. Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures in day-to-day conduct and supervision of cash management activities.
  14. Ensure compliance with SOX controls and other regulations, including record-keeping and conducting data testing as needed.
  15. Manage letters of credit and bank guarantee issuance for the APAC region in coordination with the corporate team.
  16. Supervise Treasury Analyst on daily operational tasks and long-term developmental goals.
  17. Support implementation of the Treasury Management System for the APAC region in collaboration with other departments.
  18. Assist in financial reporting where required.
