The ideal candidate will have a strong background in lean manufacturing principles, with experience in eliminating waste and implementing yield improvement projects. You will be responsible for conducting gage repeatability and reliability studies, correlation studies, and generating reaction plans for out-of-control situations. Additionally, you will assist in operator training, qualification, and improving operator utilization and productivity.

We are looking for a candidate with excellent communication skills, who can effectively interface with peers and enhance teamwork. If you have a strong sense of data analytical skills, a hands-on working attitude, and are adaptable to rapid changes in business needs, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Establish and maintain process capability and capacity/productivity models.
  2. Define and characterize designated processes, improving critical process capability.
  3. Ensure compliance with product specifications and ISO requirements.
  4. Conduct gage repeatability and reliability studies, correlation studies, and generate reaction plans for out-of-control situations.
  5. Assist in operator training, qualification, and improving operator utilization and productivity.
  6. Implement lean manufacturing principles to eliminate waste and improve yield.
  7. Perform other duties as directed by the immediate superior.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor or Master of Science/Engineering degree, preferably in Electronics, Photonics, Mechanical, or Mechatronics.
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in a related industry and mass production environment.
  3. Experience working in a fiber optic transceiver manufacturing environment is an added advantage.
  4. Good computer literacy, especially in SPC related applications.
  5. Strong data analytical skills and a hands-on working attitude.
  6. Adaptable and flexible to rapid changes in business needs.
