The Role

As a Production Engineer at JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence and improving manufacturing processes. Your primary focus will be on identifying and eliminating daily losses, reducing variability, and increasing predictability of results and productivity.

You will work closely with shift teams to support, coach, and engage them in improving manufacturing processes. This includes reviewing safety performance, providing day-to-day solutions, rolling out best practices, and coordinating pollution control and waste management.

This role requires a strong focus on leadership, where you will lead and role model output of Manufacturing Operating System - MOS, drive a zero loss, defects, and 100% engagement culture, and find resources to build competency in the shift team.

Key Activities

  • Collaborate with key areas to understand the Compelling Business Need - CBN contribution that will improve immediate daily business performance.
  • Define the most impactful projects on CBN which needs to be implemented.
  • Sources the appropriate support and route forward to lock improvements in place.
  • Has daily engagement with shift teams to identify opportunities using Manufacturing Operating System - MOS tools.
