Job Title: Finance Manager

Talent Recruit is representing a Japanese MNC seeking an experienced Finance Manager for a new position based in Ayer Keroh, Melaka.



Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Finance Manager to lead our finance team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for providing financial leadership and guidance to ensure the company's financial health and stability.



Responsibilities:


  • Review and analyze financial performance and growth opportunities
  • Provide leadership in all aspects of finance, including treasury, costing, taxation, regulatory, financial planning, capital expenditure control, budgetary control, internal controls, audit and risk management
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with bankers, auditors, lawyers, tax and other relevant government bodies
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and statutory requirements
  • Direct and manage the preparation of management reporting and analytical information to management and corporate office
  • Identify, assess, mitigate and monitor significant risks
  • Review business processes and costing, and drive cost reduction programs
  • Ensure the Integrated Management System (IMS) Policy and IMS Objective is communicated and practiced throughout the organization


Requirements:


  • Candidate must hold a Degree in Accounting or equivalent
  • Preferably candidates with relevant leadership working experience in multinational companies or audit firms, with a minimum of 5 years of working experience
  • Strong discipline, attention to details, and analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively under stressful situations
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels
  • Possess good knowledge of Malaysia's accounting requirements, tax, and companies act


Additional Requirements:


  • Experience in financial reporting, drafting, and preparing audited reports, with good knowledge of audit and internal control aspects
  • Added advantage - knowledge of transfer pricing documents, J-SOX, and tax computation
