DurioGen Sdn Bhd is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Farm Operations Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Farm Manager, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of our 15-acre durian farm in Yong Peng, Johor.

You will be responsible for assisting the Managing Director in overseeing all farming activities, including budgeting, nurturing of trees and fruits, planting, harvesting, control of expenses, etc. Additionally, you will monitor and maintain the overall hygiene, health and productivity of the farm.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assisting the MD in overseeing all farming activities.
  2. Monitoring and maintaining the overall hygiene, health and productivity of the farm.
  3. Supervising and coordinating the work of farm workers to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to the required standards.
  4. Implementing and enforcing safety, hygiene, security and environmental protocols across the farm.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of similar farm experience preferably with musang king, black thorn and mangosteen trees.
  • A good understanding of farm management practices such as safety and security, pest control, proper storage and application of chemicals, irrigation, nurturing of healthy, well-cared trees and fruits, workers' productivity and discipline, harvesting, recording, overall hygiene, etc.
