We are looking for a talented Application Engineer to join our team in OCBC. As an Application Engineer, you will be responsible for providing application support and enhancement for applications used in the bank.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide application support and enhancement for applications used in the bank.
  • Perform Level 2 and 3 of production support.
  • Conduct problem investigation – problem identification, root cause analysis, solution definition, development, and implementation.
  • Analyze system design and provide impact analysis to any changes.
  • Manage system risks and conjure improvements to mitigate and manage risks.
  • Work closely with users to understand their needs & issues.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of application technical support on RPP.
  • Platform knowledge on Linux/ UNIX OR Windows Server.
  • Database knowledge on MS SQL OR Oracle database.
  • Knowledge in Banking IT environment will be a plus.
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in the same capacity.
  • Pleasant personality with good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive and team player.
  • Able to work with cross border colleagues.
  • A choice to work at Menara OCBC or Cyberjaya.
