Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Solution Architect to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for articulating architectural vision, strategy, and direction, conceptualizing and experimenting with new and alternative architectural approaches.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement departmental software development frameworks, policies, guidelines, and best practices.
  2. Lead and guide project teams comprising Application Developers.
  3. Manage and implement software frameworks and utilities tools projects.
  4. Monitor and control team progress, resolving issues as they arise.
  5. Provide technical consultation, guidance, and support to project teams on IT platform direction, strategy, and resolution to technical issues.
  6. Work with project teams to troubleshoot technical issues related to software development.
  7. Provide direction and support to project managers and team members, ensuring that duties, responsibilities, and authority are defined and understood.
Requirements
  1. Minimum 7 years of experience in enterprise-level Application Development and 3 years of hands-on software/solution architecture design experience.
  2. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent.
  3. Knowledge and experience in Software Development Lifecycle (Waterfall, Agile, and Incremental).
  4. Experience in cloud-aware application design.
  5. Good understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security principles.
  6. Able to identify performance bottlenecks and optimize system performance.
  7. Familiar with integration technologies such as messaging queues, API gateways, and enterprise service buses (ESBs).
  8. Strong understanding of software development methodologies, enterprise architecture principles, and various technologies relevant to the industry.
  9. Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  10. Good command of English (verbal and written).
  11. Able to communicate in Mandarin would be an added advantage.
