We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Packaging Shift Leader to join our team at Carlsberg Brewery Malaysia. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our packaging lines and contributing to our goal of delivering high-quality products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Production Excellence: Support the implementation of Carlsberg Excellence at the line level, ensuring that production processes are optimized for efficiency and quality.
  2. Short-Term Scheduling: Schedule production on a short-term basis, utilizing your expertise in MES management to ensure seamless operations.
  3. Quality Analysis: Conduct quality analysis and release products between areas and end-product, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality.
  4. Materials Management: Manage materials and inventory, ensuring that our production lines have the necessary resources to operate efficiently.
  5. Operational Support: Provide operational support during breaks, replacements, and emergencies, ensuring that our production lines continue to operate smoothly.
  6. Statistical Process Control: Understand and interpret Statistical Process Control Charts for Quality, monitoring and making process change recommendations based on results.
  7. Skill Matrix Management: Lead the development and maintenance of the Skill Matrix for operators, ensuring that our team members have the necessary skills to perform their jobs effectively.
  8. Team Development: Participate in bi-annual appraisals and development plans for team members, ensuring that our team is equipped to meet the challenges of our production environment.
  9. Line Leadership: Assume line leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Line Leader, taking charge of late and night shifts and ensuring that production operations continue uninterrupted.
  10. Resource Management: Manage resources, attendance, discipline, training, and development of peers and operators, ensuring that our team is well-equipped to meet the demands of our production environment.
  11. Utilities Management: Work proactively to improve utilities consumption according to targets, ensuring that our production operations are sustainable and environmentally friendly.
  12. Compliance Management: Ensure compliance to HSE, food safety, and hygiene standards within the area, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for our team members.
  13. Standard Operating Procedures: Create, review, and improve standards, including SOPs, and train operators to ensure that our production processes are optimized for efficiency and quality.
