As a key member of our Large Projects Offshore team, you will play a crucial role in the development and realization of the DC interconnectors and Offshore Wind Farm grid connections in the North Sea.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the delivery of three 2GW topsides and jackets at our shipyard in MMHE Malaysia.
  • Ensure the quality of construction works, including documentation, equipment, and process robustness, meets all requirements.
  • Approve contractor performance in terms of design and constructional contracts.
  • Make technical decisions and provide relevant information to the Lead Site Manager.
  • Work with a team of specialists in Malaysia and The Netherlands to monitor contractor activities and ensure contractual requirements are met.
Technical Project Management
  • Provide technical support to a team of specialists in Malaysia.
  • Organize regular technical meetings with contractors.
  • Monitor schedules and mitigate delays.
  • Ensure compliance with design execution.
  • Consult and collaborate with other project members.
  • Guard contractual processes, including handling deviations and contract changes.
  • Manage activities and interfaces during commissioning.
General Responsibilities
  • Support procurement activities.
  • Coordinate technical specialists for design-relevant activities.
  • Support Project Management with risk and contract management.
  • Monitor contractor compliance with SHE regulations.
  • Coordinate directly assigned contractors and internal stakeholders.
  • Support development of WBS for project-specific demands.
  • Steer work package fulfillment of technical specialists.
  • Monitor interface processing between sub-project leads and stakeholders.
  • Review technical documentation, including progress and quality control.
  • Prepare and evaluate decision proposals for technical questions and non-performance reports.
  • Prepare status and deviation reports.
  • Supervise asset quality and production-site activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Structure Engineering or Construction Management.
  • Advanced professional experience in construction management.
  • Relevant professional experience in technical project management, minimum 5 years.
  • Good verbal and written expressiveness.
  • Fluent written and spoken business English.
  • Confident handling of MS Office.
  • Structured working methods.
  • High level of mobility and assertiveness.
