Job Title: Chief Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Engineer to join our team at Hunters International Sdn Bhd.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee construction projects from planning to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Supervise and coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor and control project costs, schedules, and resources to achieve optimal results.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with the technical coordinator to identify potential issues and develop solutions.
  • Review and approve subcontractors' progress claims, issue site memos, and warnings as necessary.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
  • At least 1-3 years of working experience in construction or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of construction drawings, PE design, and other construction documents.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients, subcontractors, and colleagues.
  • Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD.
  • Strong proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 is an advantage.
Remuneration:

Up to MYR 8,000 (based on experience)
