The ADS Technology team, one of our most promising departments, handles our advertising business, including delivery and marketing. We offer advanced technology advertising solutions, using a microservice architecture for backend development and multiple front-end technologies to cater to our users.

Get to know the role

We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to help our team in developing scalable solutions for our ads business. You will report to the Engineering Manager and work collaboratively with other teams to ensure the success of our advertising business. This role is required because we're expanding our team and need experienced technical engineers to ensure its success.

The Critical Tasks You will Perform

  • You will design and write scalable software using Go language to improve the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of our services.
  • You will be involved in code and design reviews to maintain our development standards.
  • You will participate in service capacity and demand planning, software performance analysis, tuning and optimization.
  • You will partner with other engineering teams to explore and create new designs/architectures geared towards scale and performance.
  • You will work with the infrastructure team in building and scaling back-end services and performing root cause analysis investigations.
  • You will be responsible for designing, building, analyzing and fixing large-scale systems.
  • You will debug and modify complex production software.

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  • You will have at least 2 years' experience in software engineering within a distributed systems environment.
  • You are well-versed in Computer Science fundamentals in algorithms and data structures. You have a sound understanding of system performance and scaling.
  • You have solid software engineering and coding skills, with proficiency in any programming language and a willingness to work with GoLang.
  • You are familiar with system performance and scaling.
