The Challenge

We seek an experienced Mobile Game Designer to join our game development team. As a key member, you will be responsible for optimizing user acquisition and retention metrics through game design. Your goal will be to implement best practices in the game development process, iterating on both new and existing content to prioritize player retention.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Game Design: Oversee conceptualization, design, and iterative refinement of game mechanics, ensuring a balanced blend of creativity and market viability.
  • Project & Product Management: Establish clear documentation standards for game design documents (GDDs), feature specifications, and other design-related materials.
  • Innovation in Monetization: Lead the integration and optimization of monetization features within mobile games.
  • Data-Driven Design & Analytics: Establish and promote a data-driven design process, emphasizing the use of analytics to inform design decisions.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience (minimum 5-7 years) in game design, ideally in the mobile space.
  • Strong leadership experience with the ability to manage, mentor, and develop a team of designers.
  • Demonstrated expertise in creating and implementing data-driven design strategies.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
  • Deep understanding of mobile game monetization strategies.
