Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at MVC Resources. As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and expansion through strategic partnerships and customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers, identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to expand product distribution across key markets.
  • Business Planning: Develop and execute strategic business plans to drive sales growth, deliver key performance metrics, and contribute to the organization's broader business objectives.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market analysis and provide comprehensive insights to inform business decisions and identify new growth opportunities.
  • Sales Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed sales targets by optimizing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and efficiently managing customer operations.
  • New Business Development: Proactively explore and implement new growth initiatives, leveraging market intelligence and customer feedback to refine strategies and uncover fresh opportunities for expansion.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in the FMCG industry, ideally with a strong background in food products or pet care.
  • Proven experience managing Modern Trade (MT) and General Trade (GT) channels, demonstrating a deep understanding of distribution networks and customer engagement strategies in both.
  • Exceptional ability to build and sustain long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with clients, particularly within large retail chains and key accounts.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a keen understanding of market dynamics, with a track record of driving sales growth through strategic planning and market analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate complex product information clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
  • In-depth knowledge of FMCG products, especially within food or pet care, with additional expertise in nutrition or veterinary medicine considered a significant advantage.
  • Willingness to travel nationwide to oversee in-store initiatives, meet with customers, and represent the company at industry events.
