The Supply Chain Coordinator role at Mega Flour Sdn Bhd involves ensuring smooth operations by managing the procurement process. You will source products, monitor inventory, coordinate shipments, and prepare reports to maintain efficient logistics.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Sourcing products, goods, and materials based on company requirements.
  2. Ensuring that all products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  3. Tracking order status using the schedule and updating it accordingly.
  4. Monitoring daily inventory levels.
  5. Coordinating with freight forwarders for shipment bookings.
  6. Preparing necessary documents for payments.
  7. Preparation of reports on costing.
  8. Monitoring pallet movement within the warehouse and with suppliers.
  9. Highlighting stock aging issues to the sales team.
  10. Monitoring supplier claims for damaged and defective items.
  11. Applying for SIRIM permits for import shipments.
  12. Calculating costing and updating selling prices.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Procurement Executive, Procurement Officer, or in a similar role.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of procurement and supply chain processes.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software and procurement tools.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • 3-7 years of experience in a procurement role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong ethical standards and attention to compliance.
